I spent half a year in Prague at FAMU- Academy of Performing Arts in 2012 developing my knowledge of analog photography and spending numerous hours in the darkroom drenched in chemicals up to my elbows. It was a lonely period where most of my time was spent alone walking through the ancient cobble stone streets lined with magestic fairy tale buildings. It was a stark contrast coming from the vibrant but square grey blocks of Berlin. With no friends or family close by I started documenting the mundane events in my life. The road to school, the evenings at the local pub, numbing the solitude with others looking for a similar escape.
Some of the images were taken at the Père Lachaise cemetery in Paris during my cousins funeral.
