This project is expected to be published as an exhibition and book in 2018. It consists of a collection of over 150 portraits taken in Germany, Sweden, Australia and the USA from 2013-2016.
The images depict the vast diversity of bodies, genders and sexualities all of whom exist within a queer context.
This project strives towards representing bodies that are otherwise rarely given space in the public sphere. It also explores the creation of identity though gender expression, sexuality and sexual practice. These identities may result in discrimination, marginalisation or violence but they may also be part of the formation of a community that challenges and changes societal structures and norms.
Currently I am working on applying for funding, making the layout for the book and planning exhibition spaces.
